We’re surprised and happy that our natural inclination to make fun of things has worked out so well. And we’re especially happy to see that many people out there also have a great sense of humor. If we want to change our world and how it’s managed for the better, we need to start understanding how things work. Using comics is a great way to teach students of all ages.

When economist Steve Keen contacted Miguel Guerra and I (Suzy Dias), we knew his superbly satirical articles needed to be adapted into a comic book. Neoclassical economics is so ripe with contradiction that it was easy for me to think of visual gags. When you add Miguel’s artistic talent and fantastic sense of humor, we knew we had something we wanted to share. A farcical burlesque which educates at the same time.
